It is the BOYS turn!  I posted about this scooter for girls a week ago. Amazon currently has this boy version at the cheapest price it has ever had it (according to camelcamelcamel).   Well this could be for a girl too.  I know one of mine would prefer this one over the pink one.

I recently purchased Ladder to the Moon for my children.  My children lost their great grandmother almost a year ago today and often talk about her and ask questions.  They also ask questions about their Grandmother (my husbands mother) who passed 4 years ago.

When I spotted Ladder to the Moon I knew it was the perfect story book for my children.  In the book the child wishes she knew a grandmother.  One night she gets her wish when a golden ladder appears at her window, and Grandma Annie invites the girl to come along with her on a magical journey.

Snap Circuits Jr SC-100 Under $20! Fun and Educational!

Snap Circuits are a fun and educational way to introduce children to electricity and how it works.  This do it yourself set encourages children to experiment with circuits.  It has 101 projects and 30 snap together parts.  

It is for ages 8 and up but my son got this when he was 5 and LOVES it.  He does it with daddy or mommy close by to help if there is a question.  It is a great family project.  We all love to sit down and figure out how to get the doorbell to ring or complete other projects.   I would say that if you would like your child to be able to do this on their own they will need to be able to read and follow directions.  

This is a fabulous set at a great price!  The only thing you may regret is not upgrading to a bigger set to begin with.   Don't worry because Snap Circuits offers a 300 project set for you to upgrade too.  If you want to just introduce your child to circuits and test the waters then this 100 set is  perfect for you.
